We are giving young people not in current employment (below 30) the opportunity to take part in this fantastic project to build business skills in a fun, practical and dynamic way. We will help you to develop what it takes to become the next successful entrepreneurs in Oldham. The Bizz Factor is run over 4 weeks consists of: Stage one – The Audition
Each entry will have a one to one interview with the judges panel and each will be asked same three questions.
- Have you got any ideas for a business or are you open to suggestions? e.g. e-bay
- If we invest in you and your business when would you like to become operational?
- Why do you think you have what it takes to be a success in business entrepreneur?
The decisions of the judges will be final and will be based on entrepreneurial spirit, confidence and individual character. 15 individuals will go through to the next stage.
Stage two – Boot Camp
The successful people will have a nominated expert business mentor who will provide advice and support during boot camp. All will be coached on Business Mastery by experts in the field. The ideas and lessons learnt will then be built into presentations.
Stage Three – The Live event and Final
All will deliver a five-minute business presentation to the panel of mentors and business people who will help in the future. The event will take place at Earl Mill . Prize Giving and arrangements made for follow up with the winners will take place at the same time.
